Ingredients

  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted

  • ¾ cup brown sugar

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1½ cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • ¼ tsp salt

  • ½ tsp cinnamon (optional)

  • ½ cup nuts or chocolate chips (optional)


Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.

  • Mash bananas in a large bowl.

  • Add butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla; whisk until smooth.

  • Stir in flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Fold gently until combined.

  • Pour into pan and bake 55–65 min, until golden and set. Cool before slicing.

Notes

  • Use very ripe bananas for sweetness.

  • Add sour cream for extra softness.

  • Store airtight up to 3 days or freeze up to 2 months.
