Ingredients
-
500g lean beef mince
-
Salt and black pepper, to taste
-
4 large tortilla wraps
-
4 slices cheddar cheese
-
100g grated mozzarella cheese (optional)
-
2 cups shredded iceberg lettuce
-
1 small red onion, thinly sliced
-
4–5 pickle slices per wrap
-
4 tbsp burger sauce (store-bought or homemade)
Optional Homemade Burger Sauce:
-
3 tbsp mayonnaise
-
1 tbsp ketchup
-
1 tsp yellow mustard
-
Pinch of smoked paprika
Instructions
-
Cook the Beef:
In a frying pan over medium heat, cook the beef mince. Break it apart with a wooden spoon and season with salt and pepper. Cook for 7–8 minutes or until browned. Set aside. -
Assemble the Wraps:
Lay a tortilla flat. Add 1 slice of cheddar cheese in the center, then spoon on the cooked beef. Sprinkle mozzarella (if using), add lettuce, onion slices, and pickle slices. Drizzle with about 1 tbsp burger sauce. -
Fold the Wraps:
Fold in the sides of the tortilla, then roll tightly into a wrap. -
Toast the Wraps:
Heat a clean skillet over medium heat. Toast wraps seam-side down for 1–2 minutes per side until golden brown and cheese is melted. -
Slice and Serve:
Remove from pan, slice each wrap in half, and serve warm.
