  • Author: Hamza

Description

These crispy Cheeseburger Eggrolls are a delicious fusion of classic American burger flavors wrapped in a golden eggroll shell. Made with seasoned ground beef, melty cheese, pickles, and onions, they’re the perfect appetizer, snack, or party food. Whether deep-fried, air-fried, or baked, they deliver bold flavor and satisfying crunch in every bite. Serve them with your favorite dipping sauces for a crowd-pleasing treat that’s easy to make and even easier to love.

Ingredients

Scale

2 tablespoons olive oil.
1 small onion, diced.
2 garlic cloves, minced.
1 pound ground beef.
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce.
1 tablespoon ketchup.
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder.
1/4 teaspoon onion powder.
1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika.
Salt and pepper to taste.
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese.
1 package egg roll wrappers.

Instructions

Step 1: In a medium skillet over medium-high heat, add the olive oil, diced onions, and minced garlic. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until the onions are translucent and fragrant.

Step 2: Add the ground beef to the skillet. Cook and crumble the beef until it is no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes.

Step 3: Stir in the ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well to combine all the flavors.

Step 4: Remove the beef mixture from the heat and transfer it to a bowl. Allow it to cool slightly, then fold in the shredded cheddar cheese.

Step 5: Lay an egg roll wrapper on a clean surface and wet the edges with water. Place a spoonful of the beef and cheese mixture in the center of the wrapper. Fold the bottom corner over the filling, then fold in the sides and roll up tightly, sealing the top edge with a bit more water.

Step 6: In a clean skillet, add enough oil to cover the bottom and heat it over medium-high heat. Carefully add the egg rolls to the hot oil and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and crispy.

Step 7: Remove the egg rolls from the skillet and place them on a napkin-lined plate to drain excess oil. Serve warm and enjoy!.

Notes

  • Make Ahead: You can assemble the eggrolls up to 24 hours in advance and store them in the refrigerator before frying or baking.

  • Freezer Friendly: Freeze uncooked eggrolls on a parchment-lined tray, then transfer to a freezer bag. Cook from frozen (add a few extra minutes).

  • Air Fryer Option: Lightly brush or spray eggrolls with oil and air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway through.

  • Healthier Swap: Use lean ground turkey or plant-based meat and bake or air fry instead of deep frying to reduce calories and fat.

  • Cheese Variations: Swap in mozzarella, cheddar, pepper jack, or dairy-free cheese depending on your flavor preferences or dietary needs.

  • Dipping Sauce Ideas: Try burger sauce, chipotle mayo, ranch, or spicy ketchup for an extra layer of flavor.

  • Wrappers: Be sure to use eggroll wrappers, not spring roll wrappers, for the best texture and structure.
